    Maoji Winery and Daji Winery that founded in 1946.
  • In 1956
    the Maoji Winery and Daji Winery were merged and founded Zhenze “Lianyi Winery”.
  • In 1957
    the company was renamed as “Public-private Partnership Zhenze Lianyi Winery”.
  • 1960 to 1962
    1960 to 1962 is a hard time of the nation, the company suffered great loss, so in order to avoid business failure, a portion of employees worked at Zhenze Rice Factory and Zhenze Leather Factory as casual labourers, and the other portion went to country, helping the nation to go through the hard time.
  • In 1936
    Wujiang Shunfeng Chemical Factory was merged into Zhenze Lianyi Winery, and the company was began to produce flavouring agents such as caproic acid, ethyl caproate, and allyl caproate. The company was the first company engaged in producing caproic acid and ethyl caproate in CHina, the products enjoyed great prestige both at home and abroad.
  • In 1964
    the company was renamed as “State-run Wujiang Winery”.
  • In 1979
    the present chairman - Bomin Xie was appointed as factory director. After the appointment, Bomin Xie paid much attention in technological and product development, eliminating those outdated products while putting effects on technical transformation. The annual sales of that year was 1.97 million yuan.
  • In 1981
    approved by the government, the company added a name of “State-run Wujiang Flavor Factory”
  • In 1982
    approved by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce, the flavor started to use the trademark of “Ciyun”.
  • In 1983
    the “new technology of edible ethyl lactate was awarded the third prize of 1983 Jingsu Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress.
  • In 1985
    the “Ciyun ethyl caproate” was awarded as 1985 Jingsu Provincial Superior-quality Food
  • In 1986
    the “Ciyun ethyl lactate” was awarded as 1986 Jingsu Provincial Superior-quality Food and the “Ciyun ethyl caproate” was awarded as 1986 National Light Industry Superior-quality Product. The new technology and equipment for ethyl caproate production was awarded the second prize of 1986 Scientific and Technological Progress in Suzhou and the third prize of 1986 Scientific and Technological Progress in Jiangsu Province.
  • In 1987
    the “Ciyun ethyl butyrate” was awarded as 1987 Jingsu Provincial Superior-quality Food and the “Ciyun ethyl lactate” was awarded as 1987 National Light Industry Superior-quality Product. The new technology and equipment for ethyl caproate production was awarded the fourth prize of 1987 National Inventory Award.
  • In 1998
    the “new technology for ethyl butyrate production” was awarded the second prize of 1998 Light Industry Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
  • In 1999
    the company acquired quality management system certification.
  • In 2011
    the company acquired food safety management system certification, and the main products, including ethyl caproate, ethyl lactate, and ethyl butyrate, were continuously awarded as “Jingsu Famous Brand Products”.
  • In 2012
    the company developed “ethyl lactate production technique” was awarded by the Ministry of Environmental Protection as “Eco-friendly Technique”.
  • 2013 to 2016
    During 2013 - 2016, in accordance with the requirements derived by the Wujiang Government Special Session, the company invited professional architect to plan and design and invested over 60 million yuan to remould the factory and equipment. After strict inspection, a clean, safe, and modern factory is already put into normal operation.
  • In 2016
    the company was awarded by the China National Light Industry Council as 2015 Top 100 Enterprise of Strong Marketability, Value Capacity, and E-commerce Capability of Light Industry.
